Unbelievably sad.

Paddon was a top man - I remember when he broke his leg playing against Sunderland (if I remember rightly) around Christmas '76. My mum was working at the N&N on Christmas Day and she took me up to see him. Arthur South and his wife were there as well.

Bearing in mind the bloke was in bed with his leg in the air he was really chipper and signed an autograph for me.

Another one of my boyhood heroes gone, along with big Justin Fashanu.

Rest in Peace Graham, they don't make them like you anymore.
