Many mistakes, I agree

With Duffy as his assistant probably the biggest. But many of the others resulted from a thin squad (the fault of Worthington and the board): in that scenario (sorry, almost said situation instead!), square pegs are often played in round holes, and the team gets changed every game in a desperate search for the right combination. Many, though certainly not all of PG's errors were made in reaction to things beyond his control: he certainly wasn't the right man for the job, but wasn't the idiot made out either.
