WW2 was ended in Europe in May 1945 with a treaty in Berlin between Russia, Allies and Germany.

WW2 in Asia was ended in Aug 1945 following the two nuclear strikes but the US on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

My grandad still thinks WW2 is going on.
