That is not a bad plan

Considering the dreadful form which we have displayed of late, we remain very close to the safety of a mid-table finish.

Say what you like about Roeder, but he has managed one of the biggest clubs in this country and is essentially a player's manager. He is no fool and I suspect that any squad member failing to give their all over the coming weeks and months will no longer have a part to play at this club.

We are firmly in the proverbial, but this beautiful game is essentially about confidence and he has inherited a reasonable squad which has lost that essential ingredient for whatever reason.

If we can survive this season and utilise the contacts which this talented man clearly has then there is some hope for the future.
