roeder so far

have to admit I've been pretty impressed. It does concern me that his demenour seems to be changing though as he realises just what a shower of sh1te hes inherited.
He's already effectively done a few things he sadi he wouldn't such as comment on the players fitness.

I think we will see what he's made of in the next two weeks. Who he brinhgs in on loan and their positions will speak volumes. I'm gutted about saturday. I expected at best a draw from piswich and a loss to watford but had really hoped for a battling draw against plymouth. Deeply concerned at the abject no show.

Hucks getting suspended really hurst us.

As for all this having a go at Lappin I don't think hes **that** bad. Hes not really a left back though. The trouble is hes a passer in a team that can't pass water. The other trouble he has is pace. He reminfds me a little of mysef in that respect. When I used to play I was most comfotable in the sheringham role but such was the nature of sunday fottie that I usually had to play left wing. I was v.v.slow but knew a good pass and when and where to make it and or make runs. This meant I made up for my lack of pace a lot of the time. Some games I could look v.good the trouble was if the other team had a v.quick full back I was screwed. One game I remember having a shocker. The other guy was so fast on a 20 yard chase if I had a ten yard start I still lost and it meant that it didnt matter how clever the run was or what skill I showed the guy just kept catching me up. I suspect thats why with lappin one week hes looks pretty good the next an absolute joke.
