The point is how much do we need to spend?

We need two centre backs (OK one might be Taylor)
A left back
At least two central midfielders
At least two strikers

And that would still leave us with no cover at right back, or at centre back or on the left side of midfield. How much will that lot cost? Then they have to gel. And, as Mumby pointed out, 60% of transfers at this level fail - so if Glenn brings in 6 players he will need to beat the odds for 4 of them to be any good.

Looks like a blueprint to piss away even more money rather than a blueprint for survival. The problems we have I don't believe can be sorted in a few months.
