My weekly important questions

1. When will the digital age come into force, whereby all old televisions will have to be thrown into the bin?

2. Why is it that if i try and play a PS1 game on a modern tv, the screen flickers and I feel like I am going to have a seizure? What can I do about this to stop it happening? (if anything)
