Lovejoy wrote a big piece in summer of '06 explaining who Sven should select for the World Cup.
He went on at length about how only fit players should be selected and then recommended that Chris 'Brittle' Kirkland should be one of the 3 'keepers!

I mean, in the ten seasons since his debut he has yet to reach 100 league apps!
