Last night - Nil Desperandum

Don't be despondent everyone. Last night we played a very good team, strong, quick, mobile and confident, at time it was like watching Dad's Army vs Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines.

Watford are the best team we have seen so far this season, not the best footballing side maybe.

We still showed fight and character and played as a team for the most part, sloppy defending cost us but the manager knows this and is probably the best we have had for a while to sort it out.

Against lesser sides we will pick up points, especially when we obtain a good (mobile) target man, a ball playing midfielder and a better left back.

I also think with Hucks last night would have been a very different game.
