Should be looking to play Croft and Hucks whenever fit and available.
And with two wide men, how essential is it for the full backs to push forward and leave us exposed? Well, not that much you would think. I do tire of managers et al going on about pace and attacking ability in defenders, especially full backs, first and foremost, they are there to defend, that is the prime directive and no part of the team game should suffer from them abandoning that.
And yes, if you are going to have a midfield destroyer-cum-ball winner in the middle, you have to have someone creative alongside them-one of the formers role is to "protect" him-Brellier and Russell will work well in some games, but, more often than not, it will show limitations.
