A few things worth bearing in mind, though:
1. We are playing the league leaders - a very efficient, physical side, who'll roll over far better teams than us this season.
2. There must be something of an emotional comedown after Sunday. It wasn't just how much the players gave - it was the build-up, Roeder taking over, and everything. Expecting them to get back up again just 53 hours later was always asking a lot.
3. Just why are we playing only 2 days later anyway? Did I read somewhere that Grant specifically chose not to request a move to tomorrow? If so, WTF?
It's bound to take time for Roeder's ideas to be assimilated into a team that's basically forgotten how to win. And there is still time - we bloody well need to start winning soon, though.
Keep the faith, OTBC - and here's to at least some pride being restored in the second 45.
