Here's the deal. We all see the game differently. I'm in the camp that thought Russell was great today and Brellier was taking up space but I understand others see it through different eyes. While they both seem to do the job in different ways I just think they are too much alike. I don't really care which one you play but partner one of them with some creativity. I heard a comment that we are the second lowest scoring team in England. That doesn't surprise me because neither player is a passer or goal scorer. They don't provide for the strikers or score themself. If we are not going to play Jimmy Smith then send him back and Roeder can work on another center midfielder. Hopefully one who can open the play for others or score some goals. It was markedly better today but I think without another central defender(Shackell looks lost to me), and a midfielder who can pass a bit, we will struggle to score enough to avoid relegation.
