Would Gascgoine have the knowledge to do so?

Or the focus, or the personality? Even as a footballer, just how good he could have been had it not been for the lack of self-discipline and the apparently self-destructive personality?

I just can't see it, somehow. At each of his previous posts he's been erratic, self-destructive, polarising, and drawn a media circus (admittedly not always of his own making) which has done nothing for the club involved or himself. Combine that with the stress which, in the end, has seen him crawling back into the bottle.

Not my choice, thanks. Would you want that man, nominally or otherwise, in charge of your 14/15 year old son?
