Its a strange investment when you think about it

He's not an Ipswich fan so can hardly be described as doing it for the club he loves, he's also not someone looking to increase his public status.

He doesn't seem to fit with the usual football club investor who either wants to benefit the club they love or use the club as a public plaything to boost their image.

Football is not a sensible investment for any businessman looking for a return on his money as only the big four clubs are capable of making any meaningful profit.

It leaves me wondering why exactly he's putting his money in.
