"Effectively debt-free" is not the same as "debt-free". Stripping out the hysterical drivel that has appeared in the Archant papers, scum have not said that their debt will be reduced by even 1p should this go through. When all this is put to the shareholders the facts of the situation will emerge.
The losers here, just as when scum went into administration, are likely to be the little people - whose pension funds are invested with Morley FM. Now that isn't Sheepy's fault at all - but he will carry on again in his own sweet way, as no doubt will the clown, or clowns, at Morley FM who made this disastrous investment decision. Did they lose their jobs, or even their bonuses as a result of this debacle? I doubt it.
