A few thoughts on Mr Roeder.

Have to admit I didn't see that coming. What I can't help worrying about though is how many other jobs has he applied for in recent months and not got? And which clubs they were at? Bearing in mind our league position he must have been pretty desperate for a job. My initial reaction was one of utter dismay but then again, I suppose it could have been worse too. Thoroughly uninspiring (as is the Norwich way) but seen as a "Safe pair of hands" by the board. I like to think that this is just a short term plan from the board to get us out of the s**t and then to chase someone more up and coming, not to mention dynamic, like Paul Ince during the summer for a proper crack at the play-offs. But after keeping Worthington atleast a year too long and the whole Grant debacle I really don't think that the NCFC board are that clever. Don't get me wrong, I'll get behind Roeder and the boys on Sunday because we need points on the board ASAP and the fact it's against the scum makes it all the more important we show a united front. But I'm a great believer in trusting your gut instinct and mine when I heard the news on the radio this morning was far from positive. I'd love to be proved wrong but, well, I thought the same thing about Grant just over a year ago and we all know what happened. Anyway, you never know. Just wish it had been Ince thats all. A wasted opportunity I reckon. Now lets just get behind them on Sunday and give the scum a good slap. OTBC.
