The most fickle, self involved fans in the game, Definately.

Roeder could not have hoped to have done a better job when he took over from Souness. They were in the s**t and he got them out of it.

The thing though with newcastle is if any single thing goes wrong its time for a change, they might finally have found some patience for Big Sam but Roeder was never a good fit for them. He did wonders in his first half season there and its that period that's got him the job here.

Newcastle fans who claim he's on for the relegation hat-trick would do well to realise that he didnt complete when in contol of them at a vital time, he took them to 7th. a finish Big Sam would probably be proud of this season.

Taking newcastle fans seriously is stupid, unless something brings them the silverwhere they have a divine right to then they will force it out.
