Just back from France and now Roeder turns up

Spent a lot of time trying to find out who we were going to get: texts to mates, effing crap dial up system and BBC News. Heard it all really - Parkinson, Jewell, Bruce, Tilson, fugging Pulis and I don't know what else. Read a lot from the Big Feller about maybe Staunton, but Roeder seems to have come up on the blind side.

Well the track record ain't great, but he has turned teams around -sustainability seems to be a problem. Liked his quip at the Press Conference when asked about his "secret" in that regard. "Well, it would be silly to let on, wouldn't it?" He also seems to have a good idea who he wants as his assistants and seems to want some loan players pronto, although he seemed really careful not to make out that some of the current squad are crap.

So, not my choice but Sunday's about smashing big headed scumbags and if he can achieve that then he's OK for a bit. Although, of course, we may recall that Hamilton's first game in charge resulted in a 2-0 win at Scumbagland, followed by a 2-1 defeat at home to Swindon.

If Roeder takes the view that there ARE some good players in the squad and that it's about underachievement and lack of confidence, then, with a few additions (and he seems to have that at least in mind) he might just get us out of the pish and into the sunlight. I just hope he's not too nice but that he chops out the crap and gels the rest.

Still wish it had been Jewell, but lets give this guy a break and get ready to pish all over the Scum. They will be SO full of themselves and it would be great to see them sleazing out of the ground beaten by the bottom club and looking like cats who've had the cream stolen off their plate.
