Roeder`s appointment

My immediate reaction was " Oh dear". Quite clearly he wasnt the Board`s first choice- otherwise he would have been appointed alot earlier. I can only assume that Jewell was their no 1 choice but he has turned them down.
Because Jewell stood head and shoulders above all the other possible candidates it was probably reasonable for the Board to hang on. Roeder does have more recent top level mangerial experience than the other candidates. I was pleased to see that Duffy has gone. We will therefore have an entirely new coaching set up which must be good .
The appointment has now been made. There is no point in further whinging even if initial results dont go well.. Results will speak for themselves. Lets get behind Roeder and the team. What else can the true supporter do? We are in a crisis situation . A blame culture in a crisis will only make matters worse.
