Taking an objective view

Our league position should be no surprise. Forget our personal likes and dislikes of players,last year we finished 16th so 8 teams were worse than us and 3 of them have gone. We sold a striker for 3.5m amd replaced him with one who cost about 25% of that, we sold a midfielder for 1.5m and replaced him with one that cost about 30% of that and we sold another midfielder for an undisclosed fee and replaced him with a bosman freebie. All the replacements are beyond the age of improvement.

In any other area of the business management questions would have been asked long before it got to be a crisis but our board has zero football knowledge and don't even know the questions to ask let alone the answers. When things eventually get back on the level they desperately need o appoint a Director of football.
