He was playing as a centre back . .

but hardly won a ball in the air or a tackle.
He did pass a few short balls under no pressure to make himself look good.
He was absolutely awful.
That lack of a tackle, leaving other people to deal with the cross was unforgivable. He should not be selected again until he can give a dam.
