I agree.

It has already been reported in the papers that Whelan has said Jewell is free to work whenever he wants, contradicting the rumours regarding a contract condition stopping him working before 1 November. Even if there was a condition (a) I don't see how us appointing Jewell would affect Wigan and (b) if he had agreed to become Norwich manager after 1 November the board could announce it now, saying he will not commence work until the agreed date. That would maje sense, as it would stop the uncertainty. I cannot see it happening, unfortunately.
