It's not the board's fault Grant was crap?

Sadly it is. If I hired someone for a job at my place of work and I was responsible for them, and they were s**t, and lost the company a load of money and pissed off our customers, then I'd be in trouble. Same idea with the board. The board didn't have to hire Grant, he had zero track record in management. They went for the cheap option, and it didn't pay off.

As for the transfer budget - the Turners pumped in £2 million this summer and it was said we didn't have to sell anyone. Then Earnshaw, Etuhu and Safri all went - combined income of around £5.5 million. Where the hell has that money bloody gone?! It certainly wasn't spent on new players. Where has the £7.5 million for Ashton, £2 million for Green, and £1 million for Mckenzie gone?! I haven't seen that kind of investment in the first team!
