Respect, if he starts getting results quickly (meaning he can take most of the squad with him, and filter the bad apples out). Contacts, because if he's able to bring in good players, this increases the sense in the dressing room that the club is going places. Both Wenger and Eriksson are very good examples here: and of those presumed to be on the shortlist, Hareide might be the one with experience, a good record AND plenty of contacts too.
