stands to reason. He's based in the North West, Gartside apparently likes him, they're a prem club with a still fairly decent squad and hard currency, it's an opportunity for him to start completely fresh with his own backroom staff etc... how many more reasons does the bloke need?

We'll go for the cheap option. Either Martin Allen, Ian Crook or Micky Adams will be shortlisted, with (I reckon) Martin Allen (who's done f**k all since leaving Brentford) winning....
