So... two scenarios:

1. A manager is appointed tomorrow. The board is accused of 'spin' because they're trying to take the heat off themselves at the AGM.

2. A manager who isn't Paul Jewell is appointed after Thursday. The board are accused of 'spin' because they're trying to take the heat off themselves at the AGM.

Seeing as we're not going to get Paul Jewell, there's no other scenario I can see.
