Pulis Ticks All The Boards Boxes

Like Grant isn't it? No-one spoke about Grant, no-one mentioned him as a possibility, then *bang* he was here, he was our Manager.

Its going to be the same with Pulis.

He ticks every box going that the Board have set.

He's a "firefighter"-goes in, sorts clubs out, gets things done.

He works will with a limited budget.

He knows the loan market.

He's never been relegated.

He has the top UEFA coaching badge.

He has, to quote Doncaster in a few days time, "lots of managerial experience" -yes Neil, the legion of top clubs he has been at just rolls off the tongue-Portsmouth the one "big club", they soon got wise to it and gave him the sack!

He a sensible appointment, a boring one, he's more "prudence", more "patience", he's a long ball merchant, he's signed Ade Akinbiyi, he's why we've got John Hartson, he'll bomb Huckerby out PDQ.

His pending appointment does absolutely nothing for me at all. Its que cera cera, sideways at best, dull, unimaginative, decidedly unambitious. I am sure we really DID get some genuine high calibre candiates, and am sure that ND is really proud of his "right manager for the right club at the right time" quote because, again, that fits Pulis perfectly, as well as giving them the excuse why more striking, more ambitious targets were not pursued - "Paul Jewell was not the right manager at the right time" etc etc, "Paul Ince was not the right manager at the right time" etc etc...

He'll have his supporters and I can see some sense in the appointment. However, as far as the club going forward is concerned, raising its profile is concerned, encouraging investment is concerned-City have royally f**ked up the opportunity again, thankyou all very f**king much....

Yes, I'm THAT convinced its going to be him! Everything has fallen into place...
