Doomcaster's comment yesterday that there were certain managers for certain situations suggests for all the world a very experienced, possibly short-term appointment is on the cards here. We don't have the money for someone like Jewell or Bruce, and our immediate focus has to be on just staying in the league. If we appointed Royle on a short-term deal until May with an option to renew, I'd take it: his record says he's terrific at clubs with bugger all resources.
