What I wanted Grant to say in his parting comments was

"Well I could have done with a bit more help from Mumby and Doomcaster"

When Mumby said “Peter said that he felt that he had been supported by the club in everything that he had tried to do at Carrow Road"

that is clearly a lie. You, Mumby and your overpaid mate Doomcaster did not support PG by:
1. Negotiating a crap sell out clause when Earnie was signed
2. Flogging Dickson just before the start of the season when PG was using Dickson as the centre piece in the midfield to build the team around
3. Stating we have money to sign players before that money yet again mysteriously disappears without any adeqaute exaplanation as to why
4. Point 3 can be repeated for 2006 & 2005
5. Selling Dean Ashton for a price well below his market value (admitedly pre PG but still we sold the family jewels for f**k all)

I guess what I am getting at is that the board have come out smelling of roses - I do not in anyway blame Delia, the Turners or Michael for this - but I put the blame at the two kings of spin Doomcaster and Mumby - they do the deals, they always seem to sell out Norwich City with ridiculouly low deals and then patronise us with comments that suggest they have absolutely no impact on results.
