they need to get a group of 'football' people to assess

not just one person, a group of 7 or 8, e.g Gunny, Dion etc who have all played the game. No one on the board has the slightest idea about the game of football and that is massively worrying. If we don't learn from our mistakes again, we'll be discussing this this time next year.

Just having Dave Stringer (someone who managed 20 yrs ago) and no one else is not a good group of people to assess who a good appointment would be.
