when recruiting someone you always take a risk, no matter how robust the selection process and who was involved etc.

Bottom line is that while Peter has the work ethic, the courage, the stamina and the can do attitude, he is lacking in key competencies to take on such a large, complex and demanding role.

We should have gone for a safe pair of hands, proven, at this level, with track record.

Delia has been (and will continue to be) our saviour. The only other potential benefactor in Norfolk is Bernard Matthews, fat chance of him giving us the millions that Delia has!!
