Is Grant solely to blame...

...dont get me wrong I didnt agree with his appointment, always thought it was the cheap option and the board bottled the opportunity to get us back to the promised land BUT the players are letting themsleves down and not doing themselves any favours for any persepctive new manager.
Otsemobor was in Div 1 team of the year last season, that must be a poor division because he looks an extremely poor defender.
Russell has been a let down based on the box to box player I watched at Stoke.
Brown - well Brown I work with several Sunderland fans who still continue to rip me to pieces on the £300k we paid for him.
The scots all look average championship/div 1 players.
There are many more but I must talk about Hucks. He is a cult hero & still remains my all time favourite City player, alongside Kevin Reeves, for the performances who gave in the championship winning season. However, his performances this season & he must be match now have been nothing short of appalling. He is letting the fans who worship him down so badly just because he has a personaility clash with the manager, who, it must be said, does continue to pick him. Last night was the final straw and whilst Grant personally attacked him in all but name after the game his performance (along with 9 others, Marshall at least showed some promise) did deserve it.
However, going back to the top of this post Grant is still the cheap option who doesnt, yet, have the skills to manage a team so low on confidence. Its painful and very very very worrying for us die hard fans.
