Another week, another manager looking to be on his way in the Championship and another attractive looking vacancy for potential new bosses with Peter Grabts job hanging on a knife edge.

Early front-runners for the Carrow Road job, with odds from www.bet365.com are as follows.

Mark Bowen (4/1)

A former Norwich City player with nearly 400 appearances for the club, Bowen has forged a good reputation as a coach under Steve Bruce at Crystal Palace and Birmingham and with Mark Hughes for Wales and now as Blackburn’s assistant manager.

The clear favourite, with his former team-mate Ian Crook thought to be in the frame to assist him.

Craig Brown (6/1)

The former Scotland manager is keen to work in England again and his track record in the SPL is a decent one.

Carlton Palmer (8/1)

Reportedly spotted watching Norwich’s game against Wolves- has been linked with both Stalybridge Celtic and Queen of the South in recent weeks but is thought to want a Championship club for his return to management.

Dave Watson (9/1)

Another former Norwich player who also had a short spells in charge of Everton in the mid-1990’s.

Dion Dublin (8/1)

Newly-signed as a player by Norwich and could be a candidate on a temporary basis.

Steve Tilson (10/1)

Has worked wonders with Southend United and been linked with a number of clubs over the past few months.

Norwich would have to pay compensation however if Tilson could be persuaded to leave Roots Hall which looks unlikely at present.

Nigel Pearson (10/1)

Another number two with a good reputation within the game. Pearson is currently at West Brom and a strong candidate to remain at the Hawthorns as successor to…

Joe Kinnear (10/1)

Recently parted company with Icelandic club SV Roga after a mixed start to the season.

Kevin Bond (12/1)

Could a job swap be on the cards? Bond’s relationship with Bournemouth looks strained.
