I read somewhere that QPR had 194 applicants for the managers job vacancy

surely we would be a (marginally) better proposition than QPR?

If so, you would hope even our board could pick somebody decent out ofthat many applicants!!

Personally I would like them to consult somebody with a bit of football knowledge before making an appointment. We need someone with EXPERIENCE, like we did this time last year.
