Well like many NCFC fans, we've been patient, we've understood it takes time for a team to gel, we've backed the team over recent weeks despite hugely inept performances on the pitch, but now it's time we make a change before it's too late.
I've always supported Delia and MWJ for all they've done for this club, but we need new leaders from the VERY top down.
It's time they pass the reigns over to someone else and we start from scratch.
We've made a VERY VERY poor team tonight look good, and that says it all.
Grant may have been a good coach, but it was always going to be a risk giving him a management job at this level. Some take to it, some don't, and sadly, right now, Grant is not ready for this kind of job.
Some of his signings, Otsemobor/Lappin have proved decent players, but we've brought in WAY too many players who are no more than average at this level.
We no longer have ANYONE in this squad who'd be wanted by higher level clubs, which says it all.
I don't want to see us selling to bigger clubs, but it's nice to be in a position that clubs watch our players and want them. I can't think of ONE player right now who anyone would want to buy.
Grant - Thanks for trying, I'm sure without a doubt you've given it your all, worked hard, and done nothing but try and make this job a success for yourself and NCFC, but PLEASE get the hell out now and be respected for admitting you're not upto the job. Please don't stick it out while our board do nothing about it and send us into an ever worsening spiral.
If things aren't changed ASAP then we're going to be staring a season long relegation in the face.
We do NOT want to become the next Forest. The way things are going right now, and the lack of urgency to sort things out, both in the board room and out on the pitch, worries me and I'm sure many other Norwich fans right now. We need a HUGE sort out right now. We CANNOT afford to leave this until Christmas.
I'd have been happy to give Grant longer if I at least saw signs that things would get better, but for 4/5/6 games now we've not looked threatening, we've created nothing, we've lost to very poor teams and done nothing positive against them.
Our team is showing no signs of gelling, the defence midfield and strikers are not linking up and play almost as three seperate units.
Grants excuses right now in this interview are also annoying me. We created f**k all chances in the first half, and offside? How many of them did we have in the match? 3 or 4 at most? We created nothing, we haven't looked like creating anything for hours.
I hate to be one to do this, as I try to be positive at all times, but, for the sake of NCFC's future and present, GRANT OUT NOW.
