Bryan Gunn etc

Gunny recently played in a charity golf day at the Royal West Norfolk course in Brancaster where my Dad and I play...any golfers on WOTB who fancy a game one day, let me know, anyway....

Dad was starter and said, as Gunny came to the 1st tee, he could not believe "...how big he was..." -as in carrying some excess, also, that he didn't look well and was a far distant figure from the Gunny that we all knew, know and loved (and despite his PR appointment in the Summer and how that isn't going well, Gunny remains a hero for me and always will do)- anyway, Gunny was enjoying the craic with everyone, never-the-less, so Dad said to him "...when are you going to get rid of that muppet in charge there and appoint someone decent..." (at this point, I cringed!)

Gunny laughed long and loud and suggested that if he would pay his wages, we'd go for Mourinho!

So the Big Man is on form, though it looks as if the pressure of his new job and expectation etc, is causing him some sleepless nights and not a little stress. I do wonder now if it wasn't such a good idea-Gunnys a great man and an NCFC legend, but you wonder if he wasn't prised into a job that, after so many years out of the game, he isn't enjoying and that, as a PR/Marketing "guru" for the club, he would be a lot more valuable, as it would be for us to get an experienced coach/scout in.

As it is, I cannot believe that we STILL don't have a 1st team coach and find that a damning statement on the clubs inability to either find one or afford one.
