Early General Election: yes or no?

At first I thought NL were being clever and forcing the Cameroonians to crystaliise policy positions well before they really needed to, so they could nick what they liked and ridicule the rest.

Then I thought they've almost made it the safer choice to go than not to - so they will.

Now I'm wondering: Brown is the man who wouldn't run against Smith, wouldn't run against Blair...is he going to not run until he has to?

Can't see an election next year as there will be bad economic news in the spring. So it's now or 2009, in my book...
