In brief

Lots of money going out (salaries, phonecards, pens, petrol for the lawnmower, road tax/insurance for club bus, grub for the restaurant etc) versus not as much money coming back in (ticket sales, Hong Kong $'s for shirts that sort of thing) which means we need to drum up some money from always selling our besterest players (your Ashtons/Earnshaws/Dohertys). Someone started an academy which is like a little footballer allotment for growing our own players but we forgot to water it.
