1. The club told us that we had not budgeted for Earnie going but that without the £2m from the Turners grant would have had to sell to get a budget. We then bid £2m for Sharp, Eastwood etc. Natural assumption that budget is at least £2m. We then turn a transfer profit of (according to ND) £2.6m (not even counting how much we must've saved on wages) meaning we must have over £4m to spend now. In which case why didn't we buy the players we so clearly needed in the transfer window instead of moaning about how much loan fees cost. They arn't new, we've paid them before!

2. The club lied. We were not really bidding for Sharp and Eastwood to sign them as it was just for show. The notional money for their transfers was purely from Earnie (and possibly Saf and Etuhu). We've turned a £2.6m profit and swallowed it all. Leaving not even enough cash to pay £300k in a fee and £150k in wages for a loanee. If this is the case it's a disgrace and needs a proper explanation.
Either way it's totally out of order that the club treat the fans like this and they're now being rewarded with falling attendances. How long before we dip below 20k?
