FAO Pants and Old Git - long post

I really don't have the time or inclination to keep justifying myself so here goes one last time. I am not a binner on a wind up. I don't know what evidence I can supply to convince you of this, so let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in Norwich in 1965 to a city supporting family (father wrote for Eastern County Newspapers and covered matches). We moved to Colchester when I was 6, and I was forced to endure the daily horror of rubbing shoulders with the blue filth at school. And you can imagine how much fun that was in the late seventies/early eighties. In fact hardly anyone followed Colchester United then. I used to go to Layer Road often with a Liverpoool supporting mate, and even to Portaloo sometimes with the neighbours (does that make me a binner?). Only went to the occasional City game when visiting family in Norwich. Always sat in the South Stand, taking our lives in our hands scrumming up and down those dodgy steps. Still frequent the South Stand these days, most recently Wednesday game, before that Barnet. Usually take the kids nowadays, but have promised them they don't have to go again if they are good. I have a pile of old programmes, ticket stubs, membership cards and share certificates (yes, I really am that stupid) sitting in the corner and a pized photo taken of me and the kids with the championship trophy in Loddon. Now I know none of this may prove to your satisfaction my bona fides, but I would respectfully submit it is a bloody sight more than anyone knows aboput you.
