Martin is not twice as good as Cureton

plus he's a not an alternative to Brown.
It's Strihavka,Dublin or Brown & Cureton or Martin pretty much, especially in a 4-4-2 with Hux & Croft wide.
I personally would play Martin but he's a completely different player to JC if there's chances to be taken I'd put money on it JC would take more than Martin.
Grant is not the only one who seems to rate Doc Worthless stuck with him too & even thought he was a striker FFS(but he's s**te).
As for attracting players thats just guesswork we do not have knowledge of that, my guess its finances.
