The strange world of Peter Grant

Grant's quotes are so off the wall it's untrue. This about Russell:

“I just think the way we wanted to keep the ball we would just be able to do that better,” said Grant, who admitted that Russell's fitness came into his thinking.

“You will have seen it a few times yourself, he has been caught with the ball under his feet, not been able to move it quickly enough and sometimes that comes down to not having enough games."

So what he's saying, I think, is that Russell hasn't had enough games and hasn't been able to move the ball qucikly enough because of a lack of fitness. But hasn't Russell played in almost every game this season?

On the other hand, Spillane and Jarvis would be able to move the ball quickly because, er, they're fitter than Rusty because obviously they've had way more games than him this season and must therefore be much fitter!

Obvious really.
