On page 3, Munby has a passage where he says words to the effect of "I know some people think we screwed up by not sacking Worthy earlier but we did our best."
The interesting bit is the next bit - "That we made some mistakes is accepted, BUT THE CRITICAL FACTOR IS WHETHER WE WILL BE WISER AND BETTER IN DECISION MAKING IF SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES ARISE IN THE FUTURE, and i believe we will."
In other words, he's saying "We'll be a lot faster sacking the next manager if he's not up to scratch". And he rubs it in by saying that PG "has achieved the acquisition of over three-quarters of his target list". In other words, "If we aren't doing well, fans, it's his fault not our fault".
So I don't think that PG is going to get "infinite patience".
I'm going to go and cook supper for Mrs Git now, a Sunday night ritual. Though why I bother after she said "I don't know why you go on supporting Norwich if they're so rubbish and it makes you so grumpy" I do not know.
