Why Jamie Cureton and not Chris Martin?

Cureton has not scored for a few games, we have lost 5 out of 6 so why didnt he throw martin on yesterday?
I think (in all honesty) that if no improvement in results is seen after the next 3 - 4 games then Grant has to go. I was in favour of his appointment but now not so sure...
