That's the ten-game mark; it's also the perfect opportunity to assess whether we've made any progress, or in fact gone backwards, since he took over. I'd suggest he needs 5 points from the next 3 games to survive; possibly 4 would do him, particularly if they were over the latter two games, and he could argue we'd improved after losing to Wednesday, if you see what I mean...
But no, the board definitely won't delay as they did with Worthy. Then, they had a manager who'd proven he could take the team up, and come close to keeping us up too: plus, conventional wisdom seemed to be that continuity was the best course of action if you wanted to bounce straight back a la Charlton. Cue misjudgement and myopia - but now, although I'm sure they want to give PG as much time as possible, the urgency of our financial position plus his lack of prior record means they'll surely act if the situation demands it.
