Don't be so sentimental about Dion. We have given him a decent living for the last two years of his career, he appreciates it & by God, we've reason to appreciate what he's been doing as well, but his future is in the media, not as our, or anyone elses Manager.
We need -if the matter arises- a proven and experienced Manager. I don't know if Delia feels we had our fingers burnt the last time we appointed one-Bruce Rioch-but yet another untested man in the big chair would be a big gamble.
Who? God knows. But they'd apply and I am sure a lot of quality applicants would, they apparantly did last time if you believe JD, but there you go...anyway, its academic at the moment, but even so, no, Dion woukld not be the answer.
