Just got back - jesus f**king christ that was depressing

I saw Atonement. I thought going to see a film made in English, with famous actors, in colour and released in 2007 would be less depressing than my usual staple of obtuse Hungarian movies about dead whales and 18th century composers.

I was wrong.
