Why is this club so obsessed by money? Admittedly it does make it easier if you do have bags of cash but Watford and Sheff UTD went up a couple of years ago without spending bugger all. Colchester finished just outside the play-offs, and there have been others. It's about spending what you have wisely and then making the most of what you have. You also have to look at the board. We are one of the best supported clubs in the Championship but still can't survive financialy. It is looking increasingly worrying both on and off the pitch. After being reasonably optimistic we would be top 10 at the start of the season I feel we are if anything in a worse position than last year.
