He did them a huge service taking them up twice - the very least they ought to have done was return the favour. If you ask me, his career has stalled since: he wouldn't be my choice now, certainly. For the record, it was Newell back when PG got the gig, and any of Simpson, Grayson or Sturrock now, assuming we couldn't get Jewell (this season's Curbishley figure, if you like).
