I remember you Mancs were down in the bargain basement, and I remember you used to come and josh with us, so I know that you've been there

But time dulls the pain and you've been back up in the top flight for a long, long time. And you've produced some fantastic players and some great displays along the way.

Since we got promoted, we have had a season in the prem where our manager picked the wrong teams and played the wrong tactics, so we agonisingly went down when we could have stayed up; a first season down when our manager wasted money like water on useless players and our board let him; a second season down where the players, the football and the finances just got worse and worse; a chance for redemption by choosing the right new manager being blown; and now no money, no parachute, big debts, best players almost all sold, disharmony in the dressing room and dross on the pitch.

Believe me, you may remember it from your dim and distant, but you have no idea!
